PRIVACY STATEMENT

Collecting and using personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you supply as it is necessary to conclude and execute a possible agreement with you. It applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties where we purchase goods and/or services.

If you are a (potential) customer, we will use your data to send you a quotation, to determine what specifications or wishes a specific item or service has to meet, to deliver goods or carry out work for you, to provide invoices and to smoothly, efficiently communicate with you about the implementation aspects of the agreement.

If you are a (potential) supplier of other contractor we also require your personal data to conclude and execute the agreement. With regard to purchasing we should be able to inform you what specifications or wishes a particular item or service must comply according to us, send a request for a quotation or place an order, pay your invoices and smoothly and efficiently communicate with you about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you don’t or insufficiently provide personal data, it might be possible we can’t perform the above mentioned activities.

Transfer to third parties

In connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you we might have to supply your personal data to parties that supply parts, materials and products to us or carry out activities on our instructions. In addition, we make use of your external server space to save (parts of) our sales- and purchase administration, which includes your personal data. For this reason, your personal data are supplied to our provider of server space. We also make use of Microsoft Office and the corresponding storage facilities for e-mails and other files. As we make use of a newsletter mailing service, your personal data are passed to the provider of this service.

Direct marketing

If your regularly place orders with us, we will save and use the personal data you have supplied  to personally inform you in the future by e-mail about our current and new products and services and will possibly make a quotation. We have a legitimate interest in the use of your personal data, namely to market our products and services. Every time we send you a direct mail, you have the opportunity to inform us you will no longer appreciate this service. At the bottom of our mailing you will find the unsubscribe link. If you are a once-only customer we will only send you advertsing messages if you have given us your permission in advance.

Retention period personal data

If you have requested a quotation, but haven’t become a customer, we will delete your data not later than one year after our last contact. If we have received a quotation from you, but we haven’t become your customer, we will delete your personal data not later than one year after our last contact. If you have become our customer, or we have become your customer, we will keep your personal data for the duration of 7 years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully implemented. This period of 7 years correspond to the period in which we are obliged to keep our administration for the Tax Authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.

Your rights

You are entitled to ask us to view your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also request us to complete your personal data or to change inaccuracies. In addition, you are entitled to ask us to delete your personal data or to limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Finally, you can request us to obtain your personal data or to transfer that data to another person.
